PIPE Patient Record Merge Instructions

When more than one patient record exists in the PIPE Data Portal for a unique patient, the Patient Record Merge process can join data from tertiary patient records to the primary, or parent, patient record in PIPE. This functionality supports the alignment of PIPE data to the source EHR when patient record reconciliation occurs in the EHR.
The attached document provides medical groups with the instructions for how to independently perform this merge procedure in the PIPE Data Portal to manage their submitted data.

There is a separate function available if patient IDs on records in PIPE need to be changed to an updated ID (not merged to another record in PIPE). Please contact support@mncm.org for more information on how to change patient IDs.
